According to previous news, on December 31, 2023, the No. 2 coke oven of the Xuyang Weishan coking project with an annual output of 4.8 million tons was fired.

It is understood that the Risun Indonesia Sulawesi Park was founded in 2021. It is the first overseas physical manufacturing park built by the Risun Group in response to the national “One Belt, One Road” initiative. The park is located in Qingshan Industrial Park, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Xuyang Group Holdings established Xuyang Weishan New Energy (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. to build a coking project with an annual output of 4.8 million tons. The project plans six 66-hole 7.1-meter energy-saving insulated large-volume top-loading coke ovens. Each coke oven has a production capacity of 800,000 tons. It is equipped with complete gas purification technology. It has advanced equipment technology, superior geographical location, rich coking coal resources, It enjoys convenient shipping and logistics, is supported by preferential corporate income tax and imported goods tax policies, and benefits from relatively loose local environmental standards that reduce construction costs by an average of more than 1,000 yuan per ton.
When fully put into operation, it can produce 4.8 million tons of coke, 222,000 tons of tar, 63,300 tons of crude benzene, 69,600 tons of ammonium sulfate, and 870 million cubic meters of coke oven gas annually, providing stable, high-quality energy and fine chemicals for projects related to Qingshan Industrial Park. The products meet Indonesia’s current and future development needs, promote the growth of Indonesia’s international trade, and use Indonesia as a base to radiate to Southeast Asia and Europe. The sales area covers Southeast Asia, India, Japan, South Korea and Europe.
Furthermore, the project has secured export quotations for 2024 from the Indonesian government, underscoring its strategic positioning in the global market. Notably, in August 2023, PT Risun Wei Shan Indonesia succeeded in the first shipment of coke to Europe.
